透明質酸(HA)有多種各種來源，例如雞冠或馬鏈球菌。可提供用熒光素標記的這些來源的透明質酸衍生物（F-Ha）。檢查所有批次的分子量、取代度、干燥失重和游離FITC。TdB實驗室可以提供分子量約為6MDa的熒光素標記透明質酸。F-Ha為黃色粉末。
結構
透明質酸是一種源自馬鏈球菌的由β（1-3）葡糖醛酸和β（1-4）氨基葡萄糖苷單元交替組成的多糖，使用5-氨基熒光素（氨基-四甲基羅丹明）標記得到黃色纖維狀產品。該品溶于水和電解質，不過固體溶解時間長，需要在輕柔攪拌過夜（1）。取代度在0.001-0.008之間。標記過程不會導致透明質酸的解聚。分子量是由GPC系統檢測，通過葡聚糖標準品矯校正，得到Mw（重均分子量）6.0 x106

儲存和穩定性
按照de 干品應儲存在密閉的容器中，室溫下置于陰暗處。保質期建議為5年。當產品溶液在pH7.5，37°C下培養一個月后（1），未觀察到熒光標記物質釋放。
應用
在最近幾年，透明質酸在醫學（尤其對眼科手術不可或缺的作用）和化妝品中都有許多應用。熒光素標記的透明質酸可作為體外追蹤透明質酸的探針。FITC標記透明質酸極大地增強了底物通過皮膚滲透的可視性（2）。熒光素標記透明質酸用于硅氧烷水凝膠材料的隱形眼鏡對透明質酸的吸收研究。熒光素標記透明質酸的其他應用亦見諸報道（3-6）
