This can occur if cells are overly trypsinized. Trypsinizefor a shorter time or use less trypsin. Mycoplasma contamination could alsocause this problem. Segregate your culture and test for mycoplasma infection.Lastly, check for attachment factors in the medium.

None. The term “reduced serum” means that one can reducethe amount of serum they use with classical cell culture media. When workingwith Opti-MEM? I medium, most cells that are routinely cultured inserum-supplemented medium may be transferred directly into Opti-MEM? I mediumwith a minimum of 50% reduction in serum.
