Background: This antibody can be applied in
research of skin diseases and can be used for
the recognition of keratinizing cells in squamous
cell carcinomas from epidermis, lung, bladder,
cervix, esophagus, etc.
Specificity: Reacts only with the keratinizing
(suprabasal) cells of the epidermis and not with
the basal cells.
Species Reactivity: Human, bovine, and rat,
others not tested.
Ig Isotype: Mouse IgG1
Format: 1 ml tissue culture supernatant in
0.15 M PBS, 1 BSA, and 0.02 sodium azide.
Storage and Stability: Store undiluted
antibody at 2 - 8°C. For long term, aliquot and
store at -20°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Applications and Suggested Dilutions:

Immunohistochemistry: (For frozen sections
fixation with acetone for 5 min. at –20°C is
recommended.) Use at 1:5 – 1:10. Use
dilution buffer: 0.15 M PBS with 1 BSA and
0.1 sodium azide.

Western blot
Positive Control: Squamous cell carcinoma
The optimal dilution for a specific application
should be determined by the researcher.
