Specificity: Recognizes keratin 7 (54 kDa) and
17 (46 kDa) cytokeratin proteins.
Species Reactivity: Human and bovine.
Weak with pig, sheep and dog tissues. Negative
with rabbit, mouse and rat tissues.
Isotype: Mouse Ig G1
Immunogen: HeLa cells.
Format: Product: 100 μg at 1mg/ml in
PBS containing 15 mM sodium azide, pH7.4.
Storage and Stability: Store undiluted
antibody at 2-8oC for short term storage. For
long term storage, store aliquots at –20oC.
Applications and Suggested Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry – Frozen sections:
Strongly reacts with most simple epithelia
except for stomach, small intestine and colon
mucosa, hepatocytes, pancreatic acini, renal
tubulus.
Western blot
The optimal dilution for a specific application
should be determined by the researcher.
