Fos-related antigen 2 (FOSL2 or Fra-2) is a transcription factor from the Fos gene family that includes Fos, FosB, FosL1 and FosL2. These genes encode leucine zipper proteins that can dimerize with proteins of the Jun family to form the AP-1 transcription factor complex. Fos proteins are involved in cell proliferation, differentiation and transformation.
