DIG Oligonucleotide 5'-End Labeling Set

ApplicationThe set is used for 5'-end labeling of oligonucleotides with digoxigenin. The oligonucleotide is reacted in a final synthesis step with an aminolinker phosphoramidite, creating a 5'-terminal amino function. After completion of the oligonucleotide synthesis, the digoxigenin moiety is introduced at the 5' position.
In general, 1 mg NHS-ester is sufficient for the labeling of approximately 300 nmol of amino-substituted oligonucleotide.

Product Description

Stability: The compounds of the set are stable in solid form for at least one year when stored at 15 to 25°C. The phosphoramidite solution is stable for approximately two weeks at ambient temperature with the exclusion of moisture. The solution of the NHS-ester in ethanol is stable only for a short time. Therefore, the ester solution should be used for several parallel labelings.
