Technical Information


HiTrap Capto IEX Selection Kit is designed for convenient media screening and optimization studies. The five Capto IEX media in prepacked in 1?ml HiTrap columns have a range of ion exchange properties: Capto Q is a strong anion exchanger, Capto DEAE is a weak anion exchanger, Capto S is a strong cation exchanger. Two of the media, Capto MMC and Capto adhere have multimodal characteristics that can be used to solve specific purification problems. Capto MMC is a multimodal cation exchanger that is functional at high as well as at low ionic strength. Capto adhere is a multimodal strong anion exchanger mainly designed for post protein A purification of monoclonal antibodies.
