β-actin(β-肌動蛋白)是已知的肌動蛋白六種異構體中的一種,是由 375 個氨基酸組成的細胞骨架蛋白,分子量大小為 42 kDa 左右。廣泛分布于細胞漿中,表達量非常豐富。β-actin 作為一種管家基因編碼表達的蛋白(Housekeeping Protein),在不同物種之間高度保守。因此,在大多數組織和細胞中常被用作內參,即內部參照(Intern Control)。普遍應用于 Western Blot 實驗來校正蛋白質定量、上樣過程中存在的誤差,確保實驗的準確性。
