Brevican is the most abundant chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan in the extracellular matrix of the adult
brain. It is a member of the lectican family of
aggregating extracellular matrix proteoglycans that bear
chondroitin sulfate (CS) chains. It is highly expressed in
