STAT3報告基因是翌圣生物自主研發的用于檢測STAT3二聚體和STAT1/STAT3異質二聚體的轉錄活性水平為目的的報告基因。激活STAT3后形成STAT3二聚體和STAT1/STAT3異質二聚體，它們與SIS-inducible element（SIE）反應元件進行相互作用調控細胞的生長和凋亡。STAT3(signal transducers and activators of transduction-3)報告基因與多種惡性腫瘤的發生、發展和侵襲轉移關系密切。

STAT3報告基因主要用于監控細胞STAT3信號通路中的STAT3轉錄活性、腫瘤治療藥物的研發以及基因過表達和RNAi的表型分析等。

pGMSTAT3-GFP是翌圣生物改造后的哺乳動物真核表達載體，在其多克隆位點插入了多個STAT3結合位點，可以高效地檢測STAT3的激活水平。由于載體采用了GFP作為報告基因，更便于后續的檢測。同時，對載體中預測出的其它轉錄因子以外的結合位點進行了適當的突變，增加了質粒的轉錄因子結合特異性。另外，由于質粒體積減小，使得STAT3-GFP報告基因更易于轉染。
