		Preparation :
Produced in mice using highly pure (>98%) recombinant human MIP-	3alpha as the immunizing antigen. This IgG1K antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein A affinity chromatography.

A sterile filtered antibody solution was lyophilized from PBS.



		Stability :
The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20oC. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least six weeks at 2-8oC or for at least six months at -20oC. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.


Reconstitution:
Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml.

In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 1000 pg/ml of recombinant human MIP-3α when used with PeproTech's biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human MIP-3α (500-P95ABt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 1.0-2.0 μg/ml.



		Western Blot?
To detect hMIP-3α by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.20-0.40 μg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMIP-3α is 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
