Product: Anti-CD105, clone SN6h
Cat. No.: MC-499 (100 μg)
Description:
CD105 (Endoglin, GP160) is a Type I
transmembrane protein, which is highly
expressed in human vascular endothelial cells. It
exists as an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer.
Up-regulation of CD105 expression has been
demonstrated in tumor vasculature and
proliferating cells, suggesting that it is a
proliferation-associated endothelial cell marker.
CD105 binds to TGF-b1 and b3 with high affinity
but not to TGF-b2.
Molecular Weight of Antigen:
95 kDa (monomer) and 190 kDa (dimer).
Ig Isotype:
Mouse IgG1/k.
Epitope:
Not determined.
Species Reactivity:
Human. Others not tested.
Immunogen:
Purified CD105 from cell membrane
glycoproteins of fresh non-T/non-B acute
lymphoblastic leukemia cells.
Cellular Location:
Cell membrane.
Positive Controls:
HUVEC cells, tonsil, lymph node and thymus.
Format:
100 μg of antibody purified from ascites fluid by
protein G chromatography. Prepared in 10 mM
PBS, pH 7.4 with protein stabilizer and 0.09%
sodium azide at 200 μg/mL,.
Storage:
Store at 4°C.
Applications and Suggested Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry.
Immunohistochemistry: For formalin-fixed,
paraffin-embedded tissues use at 5-10 μg/mL
for 1 hour at room temperature (RT). (for
staining of formalin-fixed tissues, digest
sections with Protease XXV at 1 mg/mL in
PBS for 5 minutes at 37oC.)
Western Blots: Use at 1-2 μg/mL for 2 hours
at RT.
The optimal dilution for a specific application
should be determined by the researcher.
Limitations:
For in vitro research use only. Not for use in
diagnostics or in humans.
