SSTR2是一種生長抑素受體，其屬于G蛋白偶聯受體家族。SSTR2與Gi蛋白偶聯，通過調節腺苷酸環化酶(Adenylate Cyclase，AC)的活性， 進而影響胞內cAMP濃度，將外源信號傳遞至胞內。在人機體中， SSTR參與多種激素的分泌調節，且與腫瘤的生長和增殖等過程相關[1]。

　　SSTR2在多種類型的實體瘤中常高表達，包括神經內分泌瘤和小細胞肺癌[2-3]。有研究發現， 80-90%的肺神經內分泌腫瘤都表達SSTR，且主要是SSTR2[4]。除此之外，SSTR2還在多種腫瘤細胞中廣泛表達，包括神經母細胞瘤、垂體腺瘤、黑色素瘤、甲狀腺癌、腦膜瘤、乳腺癌、胃癌、肺癌等等。因此，SSTR2靶點正成為腫瘤靶向治療研究的熱點。除了靶向腫瘤治療之外，SSTR2在肢端肥大癥、庫欣病、消化道出血和垂體腫瘤、神經內分泌腫瘤、神經母細胞瘤等治療方面應用廣泛。SSTR2已發展成為治療多種疾病的潛在候選藥物。
