Fibroblast growth factor binding protein 2, also known as FGF-binding protein 2, FGFBP2, FGF-BP2, HBp17-related protein, HBP17RP, 37 kDa killer-specific secretory protein and KSP37, is a serum protein that is selectively secreted by cytotoxic lymphocytes and may be involved in cytotoxic lymphocyte-mediated immunity. It is produced by NK cells,? T cells, a subset of effector CD8 T cells and Th1 cells, and secreted to serum. Most Ksp37 expressing cells coexpress perforin which suggests that Ksp37 may be involved in an essential process of cytotoxic lymphocyte-mediated immunity. Elevated Ksp37 level in body fluids has been found in asthma and some infectious disease patients.

            Novoprotein Recombinant Human FGF-BP2/Ksp37 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Gln20-Gly223) of Human fgf-bp2 (Uniprot #Q9BYJ0) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

·Formulation

            ? Novoprotein Recombinant Human FGFBP2 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.
            
·Reconstitution

            We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human FGFBP2 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.
            
·Storage 

            Lyophilized Recombinant Human FGFBP2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human FGFBP2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
