Product description
Interleukin-6 (IL-6) protein is a pleiotropic cytokine that plays an important role in host defense by regulating immune and inflammatory responses. It stimulates B-cell differentiation and antibody production, acts synergistically with IL-3 in megakaryocyte development and platelet production, and regulates bone metabolism. IL-6 signals through an IL-6 receptor system consisting of two chains, IL-6Rα and gp130.

Reconstitution |
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Use sterile deionized water to redissolve, reformulate to the concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL, can be further diluted according to subsequent experiments. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add carrier protein (0.1% BSA) to the dilution buffer. |
Storage
The product should be stored at -25~-15℃ for 1 year from date of receipt.
After redissolution, the product would be stored at -85~-65℃ for 3 months or at 2~8℃ for 7 days.
Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities when first used and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
