General description:Iscove′s Modified Dulbecco′s medium is a modification of Dulbecco′s Modified Eagle′s Medium (DME) containing selenium, additional amino acids, and vitamins, sodium pyruvate, 4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1-piperazineethanesulfonic acid (HEPES) buffer, and potassium nitrate instead of ferric nitrate. Iscove′s medium supports murine B lymphocytes, hemopoietic tissue from bone marrow, B cells stimulated with lipopolysaccharide, T lymphocytes, and a variety of hybrid cells.
Application:Iscove′s Modified Dulbecco′s Medium has been used to culture KG1a cells (human leukemic cell line) and Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) DG44 cell line.
