Zymogen granule membrane protein 16, also known as secretory lectin ZG16 and ZG16, belongs to the jacalin lectin family. ZG16 is highly expressed in liverand detected at lower levels in colon, ileum and jejunum. ZG16 may play a role in protein trafficking. In addition, ZG16 may act as a linker molecule between the submembranous matrix on the luminal side of zymogen granule membrane (ZGM) and aggregated secretory proteins during granule formation in the TGN.

            Novoprotein Recombinant Human Secretory lectin ZG16 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Asn17-Cys167) of Human zg16 (Uniprot #O60844) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

            (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.

·Formulation

            ? Novoprotein Recombinant Human ZG16 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.
            
·Reconstitution

            We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human ZG16 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.
            
·Storage 

            Lyophilized Recombinant Human ZG16 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human ZG16 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
