Each kit contains a BLOCK-iT Fluorescent Oligo, which provides:

 Proven correlation of transfection efficiency with Stealth RNAi siRNA and traditional siRNA molecules.
This makes BLOCK-iT Fluorescent Oligo an ideal indicator of transfection efficiency for RNAi experiments. In addition, the kit contains a Positive Control Stealth RNAi siRNA molecule directed at human p53 and a Scrambled Stealth RNAi siRNA molecule as a negative control. To assay cell viability, Dead Cell Dye is included. This dye colors dead cells as red, thereby allowing easy identification of non-viable cells in a tissue culture plate. Using these reagents together allows you to both optimize transfection conditions and have a functional positive control in every RNAi experiment you perform.
