| Specificity | |
The 53FC3 antibody reacts with Mannosidase II, a 135kD protein located on the luminal side of the Golgi membranes. This antibody is useful as an immunocytochemical marker for the Golgi apparatus as well as for studying the fate of the Golgi complex in dividing cells. |

This antibody is effective in immunofluorescence (IF) and is known not to work in immunoblotting. |

The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.

*Detection may be tissue specific (i.e. the antibody detects mannosidase II in BHK cells but not CHO cells). |
| Storage | |
Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. For long-term storage, keep the antibody at -80°C. |
