This antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acids residues surrounding the phosphor Ser218/222 of human MEK 1/2. It is specific for Mr 45kD MEK 1/2 phosphorylated at Ser 218 or Ser 222 in serum starved NIH/3T3 cells. This antibody was purified by sequential chromatography on Protein A and phospho and dephospho peptide affinity columns. |
