RAR GFP Reporter Plasmid是翌圣生物自主研發的用于檢測RAR轉錄活性水平為目的的報告基因。視黃酸是一種親脂性分子和維生素A的代謝物，影響基因的轉錄和一些生物進程的調節，例如細胞增殖、凋亡和分化等。視黃酸對基因轉錄的調控取決于視黃酸到靶細胞運輸率和在目標組織中視黃酸對RAR(Retinoic Acid Receptor)的曝光時間。
RAR-GFP報告基因主要用于檢測細胞細胞Retinoic Acid Receptor信號通路中RAR的轉錄活性、藥物研究以及基因過表達和RNAi的表型分析等。
pGMRAR-GFP是翌圣生物改造后的哺乳動物真核表達載體，在其多克隆位點插入了多個RAR結合位點，可以高效地檢測RAR的激活水平。由于載體采用了GFP作為報告基因，更便于后續的檢測。同時，對載體中預測出的其它轉錄因子以外的結合位點進行了適當的突變，增加了質粒的轉錄因子結合特異性。另外，由于質粒體積減小，使得RAR-GFP報告基因更易于轉染。
