2025年1月，蘇州大學程亮教授團隊在Advanced Materials（IF=27.4）上發表題為“Manganese Galvanic Cells Intervene in Tumor Metabolism to Reinforce cGAS-STING Activation for Bidirectional Synergistic Hydrogen-Immunotherapy.（錳原電池調控腫瘤代謝以增強cGAS-STING激活，實現雙向協同氫免疫療法）”的研究。

cGAS-STING通路在觸發抗腫瘤免疫以及將“冷”腫瘤轉變為“熱”腫瘤的過程中起到關鍵作用。前期大量研究結果表明，Mn2+可以增強cGAS-STING通路的激活，從而提高腫瘤治療效果。然而，腫瘤復雜的代謝微環境對cGAS-STING通路的激活有潛在影響。據報道，腫瘤代謝過程，尤其是糖酵解過程，能夠負向調控cGAS-STING通路的激活。因此，開發高效策略以實現錳基STING激動劑有效遞送的同時，調控腫瘤細胞糖酵解進一步增強cGAS-STING通路激活具有重要意義。近日，蘇州大學程亮教授團隊開發了一種錳原電池（Mn galvanic cells，MnG）策略，通過調節腫瘤代謝以進一步增強cGAS-STING通路的激活，進而實現高效雙向協同氫免疫療法，顯著提升腫瘤治療療效的目的。該研究不僅強調了通過有效構建金屬原電池策略誘導生物學效應以增強免疫治療的重要性，還證明了該策略在調節腫瘤糖代謝增強cGAS-STING激活以實現協同治療的可行性，為合理設計生物活性材料及其在腫瘤免疫治療中的應用提供了進一步的發展機會。

該項研究中，使用了欣博盛生物（NeoBioscience Technology Co, Ltd）的Mouse TNF-α ELISA Kit，用于檢測腫瘤組織中相關指標的含量。
